Tom has been racing mountain bikes for 13 years, starting his cycling career racing National and World Cup 4X events. During this period, he won 5 national titles and reached Elite level whilst representing some of the biggest brands in cycling. 

Following the removal of this discipline from the World Cup circuit he took a short break from racing mountain bikes, but in 2017 found his next venture - Cross Country mountain biking. Since then he has been steadily working his way up the rankings through regional and national racing. 

Last Season: 

Last season would have been Tom’s second full season of national XC racing within the Expert category. His main aim was to obtain promotion into the Elite category; however racing was halted due to the pandemic. Despite this, Tom’s previous results featuring numerous top 10 national level results and regular podium placings enabled Tom to obtain his promotion into the Elite category for 2021 and beyond. 

This Season: 

This season, Tom’s aim is to learn and build through the Elite rankings, all with the aim of returning to Elite international racing in 2022. He plans to contest the entire National Series and National Championships alongside select regional events.
